OTP (ONE TIME PROGRAMMABLE) DIGITAL POTENTIOMETER

Introduction

AD5273 offers evaluation kit which comes with an evaluation board, a programmable software (No programming languages or skills needed), and connector. The software and connector can be adapted and converted for user's factory programming applications.

The AD5273 is a 64-position, One-Time-Programmable (OTP) digital potentiometer. It achieves Set & Forget resistance setting using fuse link technology. AD5273 offers resistance options of 1k, 10k, 50k, 100kΩ, housed in compact standard SOT23-8 package, and operates from -40°C to +105°C temperature range. It requires 5V one time programming voltage and 2.7V to 5.5V for normal operating voltage. The unique OTP feature is argumented with patented programming validation check function for critical applications. AD5273 has low 5µA supply current and fast 5µs settling time programmed setting retrieval during power up. AD5273 requires I²C compatible digital interface but ADI provides a device programmable software for factory programming applications that µC can be eliminated.
