Gamma Correction Amplifier

This circuit shows a schematic of a typical circuit which can correct for positive or negative gamma. This is an upgrade of a classic circuit which uses diodes as the nonlinear elements. The temperature variation of the diode junction voltages is compensated to the fi rst order by the balanced arrangement. LT1227s and LT1229s were used in the prototype, but a quad (LT1230) could save some space and work as well.
