Integrated Clock Generation, Cleanup, Synchronization, and Distribution

AD9516 Clock Generator with Integrated VCO

Providing all critical timing functions on a single chip, the AD9516 combines low phase noise clock generation with 14-channel clock distribution at jitter levels <1 ps. To reduce board space and costs, the AD9516 integrates an integer-N synthesizer, two reference inputs, VCO, programmable dividers, adjustable delay lines and 14 clock drivers, including LVPECL, LVDS and CMOS.

AD9549 Network Clock Generator/Synchronizer

Extended holdover functionality and jitter clean-up increases system stability and maximizes network uptime. A programmable digital loop filter capable of bandwidths <1 Hz enables the device to clean jitter from noisy input clocks. Flexible output frequency options are available up to 750 MHz.

Direct Digital Synthesizers (DDS) for Clock/Timing Applications

AD9910, AD9912, 1 GSPS DDS with 14-Bit DAC

Offering outputs up to 400 MHz, these 1 GSPS DDS ICs are the first to integrate a 14-bit DAC, resulting in a lower noise floor. The AD9910 includes a fast 16-bit parallel port, easy frequency sweep capability, and programmable RAM. The AD9912 incorporates auxiliary low power DDS cores to provide targeted harmonic spur reduction, as well as a 48-bit frequency tuning word, and an on-board comparator.

PLL Synthesizers for Clock/Timing Applications

ADF4002 Single, Low-Cost Clocking PLL

With up to 400 MHz bandwidth, this product can be used to generate high frequency, low jitter, clocking signals for A/D and D/A converters. Additionally, by programming R & N to 1, the part can be used as a stand alone PFD and charge pump up to 200MHz.
