The AD1882 codec and SoundMAX® software provides superior HD Audio quality that exceeds Vista Premium performance requirements. The AD1882 has six DACs and four ADCs, two stereo headphone ports, C/LFE swapping, digital and analog PCBeep and S/PDIF output, making the AD1882 the right choice for desktop PCs where performance and price are key considerations.

The jack retasking feature supports various configurations including platforms for 5.1 in 5 or 3 jacks and front panel retasking.
