The AD7858 is a high-speed, low-power ADC which operates from a single +3 V or +5 V supply. It features self-calibration and system calibration options and also includes a power-down mode. It incorporates an on-chip track/hold amplifier and a versatile serial I/O port. This flexible serial interface allows the AD7858 to connect directly to Digital Signal Processors (ADSP-2111, TMS320C25, etc.) and Microcontrollers (8XC51, 68HC11, etc.). Full data on the AD7858 is available in the AD7858 data sheet available from Analog Devices and should be consulted in conjunction with this Technical Note when using the Evaluation Board.
The evaluation board is compatible with the EVALUATION BOARD CONTROLLER
