Analog Devices’ EngineerZone Recognized by SNCR for Excellence in Online Technical Support

Dec 6 2013 - Norwood, MA
  • Analog Devices, Inc.’s (NASDAQ: ADI) EngineerZone® online technical support community was awarded a 2013 Commendation of Excellence by the Society for New Communications Research (SNCR). The prestigious SNCR Excellence in New Communications Awards program honors individuals and organizations for the exemplary use of digital, mobile and social media. The award was presented to Analog Devices in the Online Community category of the competition at the 8th Annual SNCR Symposium & Awards Gala held in Boston, Mass., November 7, 2013.

ADI launched the EngineerZone community in 2009 as a global online design resource serving engineers across the entire semiconductor signal processing chain. By creating a one-to-many support network, ADI’s design experts help customers to self-service from among a vast number of online technical discussions and learn from other engineers with similar problems. ADI’s most recent polling data revealed that nearly 85 percent of engineers visiting the EngineerZone community found that it helped them to speed their design process. "We are honored to recognize Analog Devices through this awards program," commented SNCR Senior Fellow Paul Gillin, chair of the SNCR Excellence Awards committee.

SNCR award nominations were submitted as case studies, and reviewed by a panel of SNCR Fellows. In addition to the top award winners in each division and category, Commendations of Merit and Commendations of Excellence were presented to nearly five other organizations that submitted case studies in the awards program. In its eight-year history, SNCR has honored nearly 300 organizations and individuals through this prestigious awards program and all the winning case studies are published on

"EngineerZone is an 'always-on' channel providing engineers with access to more than 20 communities representing the entire signal processing chain. Through these communities, ADI makes the full scope of our engineering expertise available to connect engineers with the right resources to address their biggest design challenges," said Emre Onder, vice president, Analog Devices. "The SNCR Commendation of Excellence is yet another sign that ADI’s thriving EngineerZone community is providing our customers the support they need to get to market faster."
