India - IPDC Bangalore
Analog Devices...the Fastest Growing DSP Supplier
Analog Devices started its India Product Development Center (IPDC) in Bangalore in 1995. The focus of the development center is on digital signal processing (DSP), both DSP IC Design and DSP software development. In the first 5 years, IPDC has developed 3 DSP processors including the highly successful, world's first $10, 200 MFLOP SHARC and 32 bit DSP, and the recently announced 600 MFLOP DSP.
IPDC is equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software facilities that include high performance Unix workstations and PCs, and design tools from leading EDA vendors. We have a high speed data link that connects the Bangalore facility to all other major facilities of Analog Devices. We have an on-site laboratory for developing and testing DSP software in real-time DSP environment.
Analog Devices was recently named the fastest growing DSP supplier in the world. We have a well thought out roadmap of future products defined for the next 3-5 years. DSP products developed at IPDC constitute a significant portion of Analog Devices' DSP revenue and profits. IPDC is involved in some of the most challenging technologies today, such as high speed DSP design, SOC, VOIP and RTOS, where our engineers are involved in all stages of product development from "Concept to Silicon to Production".
